Reflections
With this project, I looked inward to understand the emotions I had and used an image to convey those emotions and conclusions. That's how this work came about—I let myself play. Play with my felt expressions, play with sentimental items, and revisit prior experiences. I like to think in quiet places by myself. I took the still life image near the end of the project. It seems to be the pivotal moment. A striking shade of blue emerged, which I took to be a sign that this endeavor was coming to a conclusion.
